Why Reconnect?
We asked that question many times ourselves! A name can mean so much, yet the best names can often be found in the most simple of circumstances. The word reconnect captures much of the meaning of why we wanted to start a church in Barrhaven.
The word, connect, refers to the bringing together of two things. Our hope is that we can help people who don't know God, connect with Him. Connect also alludes to our desire to be immersed and caring about Barrhaven. We want to connect with our community and connect with people.
The "re" in Reconnect points to a "doing over." We all need to continually reconnect with God, whether that be daily or after many years. We've all been there.
Most of all, we hope our name reveals who and what we want to be as a community.
